Grey on grey entrelac socks

I increased the top three tiers of squares by one stitch. I knitted them with KnitPicks Palette yarn. I didn't need nearly the amount I bought. I have enough leftover to make some interesting gloves or something. And then some. I don't think I would recommend it as sock yarn. It's spun too loose for a sock yarn, in my opinion, and it isn't very soft. It's not marketed as sock yarn, but it's the right weight and it was a bargain. I'm still glad I used it for these. I'll wear them when it's cold out, for sure!

Very nice! Sophisticated. I made Eunny's Endpaper Mitts out of Palette. It is hard to describe my feelings for Palette. It was the right yarn and it was wool, but it is just not yarn to swoon over. You can't argue that it is incredibly cheap though! Those mitts were under $4.00 with yarn left over.

How beautiful! The grey on grey is so elegant. Thanks for your thoughts on Palette; I just bought some recently after seeing it suggested as a sock yarn on the KnitPicks website, but I haven't knit with it yet. It does seem a bit loosely spun, but most of my handknit socks end up as house socks anyway so I'm not looking for super durability. And the price is certainly right....

Your socks are gorgeous. I really really like the color you chose and how they look on you. Very nice work! I want to make some knee high socks, but I'm a big girl and it will take some good measuring or a yarn that stretches well. lol Again, beautiful work.
